Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was host to the 51st Airline Maintenance Conference (AMC) this year. TechSAT, which attended the event for the 15th time, used this renowned industry meeting to answer airline questions, talk to airline and supplier customers, and attend the Airline Avionics Institute (AAI) reception and trade show. Our theme for this year’s AMC was: “TechSAT goes to Mars”. We had a very colorful suite, delicious champagne, great toys for kids, and lots of fun.
As TechSAT is deeply involved in industry standardization activities, the event has gained even more importance since the AMC has been combined with the annual meeting of the Airline Electronics Engineering Committee (AEEC) who approve ARINC standards. It therefore offers a “one-stop shopping” chance for existing TechSAT customers as well as novel contacts and industry prospects in the airline, air frame, and supplier realms. It represents a rare industry opportunity where key contacts and decision makers are under one roof and able to meet in a much more relaxed atmosphere. This is why TechSAT has been an active participant since the birth of its data loading product line.
